So, I ran out of thread before finishing my quilting. What do you do when that happens? Make an emergency store run? Finish with another color? Call it a day?
This is why I wish Joann’s delivered (I mean like a pizza place, I know you can order online but I wish it was like a half hour wait)
This is a business idea that GOB or Taco or Dennis Duffy could get behind…
See? Pretty pets in quilting posts <3
I absolutely love how many pretty kitties and lovely puppies show up in people’s posts under the “quilting” tag. Our little love bugs just want to be part of the action! Here’s Skookum, doing his part:
10/21 trees incorporated have been incorporated into the redwood forest!
Such a cool improvised quilt!
Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow , for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.
I’m doing my first quilting challenge! It’s Riley Blake’s Basics Challenge through the Modern Quilt Guild, and I need to think of something great to make with any or all of these little guys. Fun!
